About Us
Zainab Khan
Hey, I’m Zainab Khan, founder and lead attorney of my law firm. For more than a decade, I’ve guided families, professionals, and businesses through the twists and turns of U.S. immigration law. My clients often describe me as approachable, thorough, and easy to talk to—an attorney who not only knows the law but also takes the time to explain it, answer questions, and keep them informed every step of the way.
As an immigrant myself, I understand the emotions that come with this journey—the stress, the waiting, and most importantly, the hope. That perspective shapes how I practice law: with empathy, honesty, and strategies tailored to each client’s unique story. Before opening my practice, I worked with a Fortune 500 company as the go-between for corporate teams and outside counsel. That role sharpened my ability to simplify complex legal processes—something my clients appreciate when the case feels overwhelming.
As the founder, I’ve built this firm on principles I believe in—integrity, responsiveness, empathy, and real results that make a difference. From consultation to adjudication, my team stands by our clients every step of the way, making the process clearer, lighter, and more manageable.
I’m admitted to the Alabama State Bar, and since immigration law is federal, my admission allows me to represent clients in all 50 states. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with families and professionals across major U.S. cities—including Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, North Carolina, Hawaii, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee—as well as clients around the world in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. My extensive travels and multilingual background give me a natural ability to connect with people from diverse cultures and communities, bringing a global perspective to every case I handle.
I hold an LL.M. in Law from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, a Master of Science in Conflict Management from Kennesaw State University, and a Law degree from the IIU Islamabad, Pakistan. I have been a licensed attorney and active member of the Alabama State Bar since 2010, licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Alabama. I am a Certified Mediator credentialed by the Georgia Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution. In addition to my legal practice, I have served as a researcher at Kennesaw State University focusing on negotiation and conflict management, and I continue to provide pro bono mediation services to give back to the community.
Outside the office, I love exploring new cities, capturing stories through photography, and searching for the perfect cup of coffee. These passions remind me of the diverse and inspiring journeys people take to build their lives—journeys that shape my perspective and fuel my passion for helping clients with theirs.
Beyond the love I share with my family, a special kind of happiness comes from my four fur babies — two playful cats who stay by my side here in the U.S., and two loyal dogs back home. No matter how busy life gets, they remind me every day that love, comfort, and companionship can travel across any distance. Their presence — near or far — keeps my heart full and grounded in kindness.|
